Придаточные уступки (Clauses of Concession) — Упр. 4 * **Although / Even though** требуют после себя полноценное предложение (подлежащее + сказуемое): * *Although I ordered...* * **Despite / In spite of** требуют после себя существительного, герундия (глагола с окончанием **-ing**) или оборота **the fact that + грамматическая основа**: * *In spite of ordering...* / *Despite the fact that the seller said...* * **However** (однако) используется как вводное слово между двумя самостоятельными предложениями или частями сложного предложения и выделяется запятыми. #### 2. Связующие слова (Linking words) — Упр. 5 1. **Although** — вводит придаточное предложение уступки («Хотя сумка должна была быть доставлена...»). *However* нельзя ставить в начале без запятой для соединения с главным предложением. 2. **Furthermore** — стоит в начале предложения перед запятой и добавляет новый факт («Кроме того,...»).
