Past simple / past continuous / present perfect simple?

(Past Simple, точная дата в прошлом) 4. Sheila **has read** the article twice already. (Present Perfect, результат "уже") 5. When I **was driving** home, a cat **crossed** the road. (Past Continuous для длительного действия, Past Simple для короткого действия, которое его прервало) 6. We **met** them at the airport after they arrived in Paris. (Past Simple для последовательных действий в прошлом) 7. We **have not met** them yet. (Present Perfect, так как "yet" используется в отрицаниях) 8. They **were eating** dinner while I **was having** a shower. (Past Continuous для двух параллельных действий в прошлом) 9. John **has** just **spoken** to his uncle. (Present Perfect с "just") 10. (Past Simple для свершившегося факта, Past Continuous для фонового длительного действия) 19. My dad **worked** as a waiter after he left the school. (Past Simple, законченный период) 20. My dad **has worked** as a bus driver for 11 years now. (Present Perfect, действие началось в прошлом и продолжается до сих пор)
